Set against the backdrop of daily life and public transport rules in Congo, it tells a gritty, street-level drama about a confrontation at the Shamukwale bus stop, where a bus conductor and a fare-dodging passenger get into a physical fight.

"Loi" became a massive anthem for the high-energy Ndombolo dance craze of the late 1990s, inspiring people across Africa and the diaspora to dance, release stress, and celebrate.
